Real Estate agent must be becoming a glamorous job.  I keep seeing REALTORS popping up in movies.  Most recently I was watching Owen Wilson and Jason Sudeikis in Hall Pass, and Owen Wilson was out showing homes to some clients when Sudeikis crashed the party with some inappropriate comments.Also, one of my favorite movies in the last few years, I Love You Man, Paul Rudd plays Peter Klavin... who we all know has a License to Sell.Why are the leading roles in movies read more

How do interest rates work?

At the risk of being boring I am going to talk about interest rates.  I was inspired by our sales meeting this week where Coldwell Banker Hallmark Home Mortgage manager Kelly Durnell said that interest rates have dropped back down again.  She said that FHA and conventional is around 4.5% and you can get Adjustable Rate Mortgages (ARM) in the 3% range depending on your credit score.  Every prediction I have heard says that interest rates will be back in the 6% range in the fall, so jump on it read more
